Sweet Adelines International is a not-for-profit organization, with over 34,000 members worldwide. Through the practice and performance of the unique American art form known as Barbershop singing, women of all ages and backgrounds contribute to their community while also achieving personal growth and accomplishment.

Capitaland Chorus is an all women's barbershop chorus with over 60 members, from ages 20 - 70+, with varying interests, backgrounds and occupations, who live and work in six counties in and around the Capital District, all of whom are dedicated to the art of four part a cappella singing. Throughout the year, the entire chorus or smaller ensembles and quartets continue to promote our craft, performing for various community events, assisting charitable groups with fundraising, singing in our annual show, and spreading holiday cheer through Valograms and Harmony Grams
Our championship octet performs our rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. We are also a Top 5 Finalist in the National "Boyz 2 Men A Cappella Quest" Contest!
